- First drifting Championship in New Zealand to have an official, sanctioned Competition on city streets.
- First drifting Championship to be aired on national Television with a dedicated Series of shows.
- D1NZ has the most diverse (nationality, age and gender) driver field of any drift Series in NZ.
- Responsible for holding more professional drifting events than anyone in New Zealand, including the only series to hold a 
  Tier 2 series together and drift school.
- First Championship to send drivers to the D1GP USA and Formula Drift World series
- Held the highest attended drifting event ever in NZ

- First series to produced a custom built sanctioned motor sport track in the Waikato region.

Track and Open days, and Private Car Parks with Permission are the best places to practice your drifting skills.

 Remember you are representing the drifting culture.

Once you have this locked down get involved in making your local or National events happen, lend a hand to a drift team or help promote the round.

D1NZ is constantly seeking volunteers to promote pre event coverage, weather it be putting posters up in your local shops, handing flyers out or making blogs on popular related internet sites - To gain widespread attendence and acknowledgement D1NZ relies on our awesome volunteers, without the volunteers help none of this would be possible.
