The D1NZ National Drifting Championship 2019 heads to Wellington for the Thunder Dome, This unique event will showcase the ultimate war against NZ's top professional drivers for Wellingtons only Drift show of the year! 

The D1NZ National Drifting Championship 2019 Round 2 is the ONLY drift event in Wellington and is returning in February 2019 to Wellington Family Speedway! 

Block out Friday 15th & Saturday 16th February in your calendar.

Dubbed 'The Thunder-Dome', the D1NZ Pro & Pro-Sport series will be showcasing the best drifters all day and into the night - this event is sure to sell-out!

Check out New Zealand's drivers display their precision-skills within the concrete walls, competing for the points as they chase the championship title of Drift King for 2019.

Gates open both days 10:00am however the main show starts from 3.00pm each day. 

Friday - Qualifying Day, main show: 3.00pm - 8.00pm
Saturday - Competition Day, main show: 3.00pm - 9.00pm

Parking: 
Please remember parking will cost $10 per car on the Saturday.
There is no charge on Friday for parking.

Food & Beverages: 
There will be food and beverages available at the venue. Alcohol will not be served to minors or intoxicated persons - ID required on request. You may bring home-made picnic in a soft-chilly bag. Commercial food is not allowed to be brought into the stadium.

Be Sun Smart: 
This is a fantastic event running through the day & into the night, however we strongly encourage you to bring along sunscreen, sunglasses, be prepared with a fill-able bottle and purchase a D1NZ hat at the merchandise stand. 

You don't need to be at the track the whole day in 2019, the main show is from 3pm but we will also allow a pass-out system.
