TERMS & CONDITIONS
PROVIDING SERVICES BY ELECTRONIC MEANS
Logitech G VD1: Virtual Drifting Championship
Owned by Grit Motorsport, in conjunction with D1NZ
1
DEFINITIONS AND GENERAL TERMS**

These Regulations outline the rules for the provision of electronic services by Grit Motorsport Ltd., owner and operator of the Logitech G VD1: Virtual Drifting Championship (“VD1”), provided through its online platform.
-
For the purposes of these Regulations:
a) User – a natural person at least 18 years old who completes Registration, or a person aged 13–17 who registers with the knowledge and consent of their legal guardian.
b) Service – electronic services provided by Grit Motorsport, including account creation and maintenance, participation in the Logitech VD1 competition, and receipt of messages or newsletters.
c) Registration – the action performed by a User through the online registration form to create an Account.
d) Account – a User-specific profile designated by a Login and Password that stores personal information, competition results, communication history, and subscription settings.
e) Login – the User’s email address provided during Registration.
f) Password – the string of characters chosen by the User to secure their Account.
g) Platform – the official Logitech G VD1 competition website operated by Grit Motorsport.
h) Regulations – this document, detailing the terms of service provided electronically.

PRINCIPLES OF USING THE PLATFORM**

Any natural person meeting the age and consent requirements may become a User by completing Registration.

Internet usage costs incurred while accessing the Platform are solely the User’s responsibility and are not associated with Grit Motorsport.

Users may contact Grit Motorsport through the Platform’s messaging system for matters related to these Regulations.

Electronic correspondence sent by Grit Motorsport will be virus-checked and directed only to the intended User.

ELECTRONIC SERVICES PROVIDED**

Through the Platform, Grit Motorsport provides the following electronic services:
a. Creation and maintenance of User Accounts
b. Organisation and facilitation of participation in the Logitech G VD1: Virtual Drifting Championship
c. Delivery of messages, updates, and newsletters to Users -
Use of any electronic service requires confirmation that the User:
– meets the conditions in §2,
– has read and accepted these Regulations, and
– has accepted the Privacy and Data Protection Policy. -
Users may not upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, abusive, or rights-violating content through the Platform.

ACCOUNT SERVICE**

Creating an Account allows Users to access all Platform services, including competition participation.
-
To create an Account, the User must complete the Registration form by providing an email address (Login), creating a Password, and confirming Account creation.

Within one business day of Registration, Grit Motorsport will send a confirmation email. Clicking the confirmation link completes the Account service agreement.

The Account service is provided free of charge.
-
After logging in, Users may update any Account data except the Login email address.
-
Account services are provided for an indefinite period.
-
Users may delete their Account at any time using the “DELETE ACCOUNT” option. Deleting an Account removes all stored data and terminates the service.

COMPETITION ORGANISATION SERVICE**
-
Grit Motorsport organises and facilitates the Logitech G VD1: Virtual Drifting Championship — a series of online drifting competitions held within a designated sim-racing platform.
-
Each round may include qualifying sessions, leaderboard stages, and a live-broadcast final, streamed through platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and official D1NZ channels.

MESSAGING SERVICE**

Grit Motorsport may send messages through the Platform to inform Users of competition schedules, updates, promotions, and activities related to the Logitech G VD1 Championship.

NEWSLETTER SERVICE**
-
Grit Motorsport provides a newsletter service that delivers information about Logitech G VD1 events, services, promotions, and announcements.
-
Subscription requires providing a valid email address.
-
To receive the newsletter, Users must consent to:
a) the processing of personal data for marketing purposes,
b) receiving commercial information electronically,
c) communication via automated systems and digital devices. -
Clicking the confirmation link sent via email finalises the subscription.
-
The newsletter service is provided free of charge for an indefinite term.
-
Users may unsubscribe at any time via:
a) the “Unsubscribe” button within their Account, or
b) the unsubscribe link in each newsletter email.

COMPLAINT PROCEDURES**

Users may submit complaints regarding improper or non-performance of services.
-
Complaints may be submitted via:
a) email to Grit Motorsport's official support address, or
b) the Platform messaging system. -
Complaints must include a description of the issue and contact information (minimum: User’s email address).
-
Grit Motorsport may request additional information if needed to process the complaint.
-
Complaints will be addressed within 14 days, with a response provided through the User’s selected method.

PERSONAL DATA & PRIVACY**

The Privacy and Data Protection Policy forms an integral part of these Regulations and is available as Appendix 1.

FINAL PROVISIONS**
-
Grit Motorsport reserves the right to amend these Regulations at any time.
-
For ongoing services such as Account use, changes become binding if the User is notified and does not terminate the agreement within 14 days of notification.
-
Amendments do not affect rights acquired before the change comes into effect.
-
Matters not covered in these Regulations are governed by applicable New Zealand law (or another jurisdiction you prefer — I can adjust).

These Regulations do not limit any mandatory legal rights held by Users.
-
The Regulations are available on the Platform in a read-only electronic format.
-
These Regulations become effective upon publication on the Platform.
