Australia’s most electric young drift talent, Saxon Moyes (Gold Coast, QLD), is officially coming across the ditch to throw down at Drift GP — the international showcase headlining the final celebration of motorsport at Pukekohe Park.
If you’ve watched Australian drifting over the last couple of years and thought ‘who’s the guy sending it harder than everyone else?’ — it’s Moyes.
He’s stacked a savage run of wins and podiums, including taking the top step at the Garrett International Drifting Cup (World Time Attack Challenge) and winning the Boost Mobile Pro Drift Slam on the Gold Coast. And when Drift Fest turns into a war, he’s been right in the thick of it — including a Sunday battle win that lit up the crowd.

Now, for the first time, Moyes will experience New Zealand drifting — and he’s doing it at the one venue where the speed, grip, and history crank everything up to full noise.
New country. New machine. Same chaos.
While Moyes is known in Australia for piloting his hard-charging Toyota GT86, for Drift GP he’ll be stepping into the new JDM Nissan S15 — a fresh build being prepared specifically for the Pukekohe send-off. It’s a move that says everything about intent: he’s not coming to tour — he’s coming to hunt.

Brendon White, D1NZ / Drift GP Event Lead:
“Saxon is full noise — the style, the mindset, the commitment. He’s the kind of driver that makes crowds stand up because anything can happen in the next five seconds. Drift GP is about the best versus the best, on the biggest stage we can build — and Saxon fits that brief perfectly.”
Moyes joins a growing international lineup for Drift GP, teaming up in the JDM battle pack alongside Drift Masters Champion Lauri Heinonen and Australian icon Luke Fink, as Pukekohe prepares for one final motorsport goodbye.
Saxon Moyes:
“I’ve watched what D1NZ does and it looks insane, the energy, the fans and the track speed is exactly what you need in a drifting series. I’m extremely excited to be a part of the final send off at Pukekohe Raceway and I can't wait to put on a show for everyone. Let’s get it.”
