D1NZ Director James McManaway to Drive at Hot Pit Auto Fest in Las Vegas and SEMA Show

D1NZ is proud to announce that Director and Pro driver, James McManaway, has been confirmed to compete at the legendary Hot Pit Auto Fest Grand Finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend – an event hosted by U.S. drifting star, Jeff Jones.

Directly following that, McManaway will join the international lineup at SEMA Show 2025 in Las Vegas from 4-7 November – the world’s biggest automotive, performance and motorsport showcase. He will be behind the wheel as part of the Locked Down Performance drifting feature, putting New Zealand talent on the global stage.

“I’m excited to represent D1NZ on the world stage at the biggest celebration of performance, lifestyle, and motorsport,” says McManaway. “We’ve got some major announcements for the upcoming season, SEMA is the perfect place to reveal them. A massive thank you goes to Jeff Jones and LP Performance, for giving us this opportunity and letting us behind the wheel of the 2015 GT RTR Mustang.”

The Mustang features a wide-body full FDF Steering front and rear set up, full hydro inline system, full roll cage, fire suppression, neon in and out, and Status seats. Under the hood is a 1320 Junkie Cobra Jet System, injectors, headers, exhaust, and throttle body.

This marks a huge milestone for McManaway as a New Zealand motorsport leader and highlights the global recognition of drifting talent emerging from the D1NZ Championship.
