For the first time ever, D1NZ brings both fields of drift into Invercargill. Three days of tyre smoke, screaming engines, and the nation’s top drifters battling at the world’s southernmost FIA-approved circuit – Teretonga Park.
For over 23 years, D1NZ has thrilled fans nationwide with world-class drifting – but we’ve never made it this far south with the Pro and Pro-Sport fields.
This November, the championship heads to Teretonga Park, the world’s southernmost FIA-approved motor racing circuit, and the proud home of the Southland Sports Car Club.
Expect high-rev battles, tyre smoke, and all the adrenaline-pumping action D1NZ is known for – right here in Invercargill.

moment of fame
One night only – your chance to drive Teretonga with the drift kings! Mum’s car, Dad’s pride, or the trusty family hauler – Friday night (21 Nov), you can take it on track at Teretonga Park and cruise side-by-side with the D1NZ pros.
Between 7:00 and 7:15pm, Friday 21 November, you can join the Charity Track Cruise for just a gold coin donation – collected by the Lions Club for the Southland Rural Support Trust.
Fun. Totally brag-worthy.
Bonus: Photo ops, pro car displays, and surprise guests from Aotea Electric Riverside Speedway.
You’ll drive the same circuit the pros will shred all weekend – at a relaxed pace, cameras out, smiles on.
